For the past 12 years, we have served our local and neighboring communities as a complete garden center. We have carefully analyzed the continuing market trends and client needs and have decided to redirect our product lines and services at this location so that we may better meet your needs. There is too much saturation in the local garden center market and reduced demand for certain products. Beginning in the spring of 2009 as per many requests, we will be increasing our selection of pool supplies, parts, toys and backyard décor while also expanding our pond and barbeque lines. We will continue to exchange propane cylinders for your barbeque; in fact we are switching propane distributors in order to provide a better value for you. You can count on Hewlynn to remain a festive part of your holiday season as we will still be selling our traditional line of Christmas merchandise including trees, wreaths, lights, trim a tree, decorations and gifts.
The indoor/outdoor material displays have been improved and will continue to be updated by Basics Landscaping, our service and installation company to more completely exhibit the various styles and colors of materials from natural stone to concrete pavers. The hardscape and nursery supplies for Basics Landscaping will be stocked at this location in order to facilitate the material selection process for your projects and improve crews’ efficiency.
One of the reasons that our clients are so loyal is the level of knowledge and service provided to them with each and every visit. By focusing our time and attention to these select departments, we can provide the ultimate in information, assistance and product variety to you. Delivery on the bulk products is still available at this location. The palletized rock and bagged stone/mulches have been moved to the yard on Long Island Avenue in Deer Park where you will also find a complete line of pavers and masonry supplies. Hopefully in the near future, upon town approval of permits, our Smithtown Mason yard will be expanding to carry a complete line of garden supplies and plants in order to fulfill our clients’ needs. In the meantime, we will be happy to direct you to an alternate source for a product that we may no longer carry. While supplies last, all of our discontinued merchandise is now 50% off.
